Frequently Asked Questions

Who runs the Bob Godfrey Colleciton website?
The website is run by Tom & Jack Lowe, who are Bob's eldest grandsons and have the full backing of Bob and the family.

Can I buy the Bob Godfrey films on DVD or VHS?
Yes! A DVD was released last year. Although this is not an official Bob Godfrey DVD, it is a legal release and can be bought here: http://www.amazon.co.uk.

Can you send me drawings from Bob’s films, or can he do a drawing for me?
No artwork is currently for sale, and Bob is no longer producing artwork. However, if you would like to see an exhibition of Bob’s work, the Bournemouth Art Institute are showing some of it in July.

Can you send me written information about Bob Godfrey?
We can’t currently do this, more information about his career will soon be on the website, and a biography is already up. A book is planned, written by Jim Walker, for release this year or next, which will detail Bob’s career in full.

Can you send me videos of Bob Godfrey’s films for my website, presentation or personal usage?
Due to copyright issues, this is not possible.

Can I use photos from the website for my book/paper or own website?
Please don’t take images from the website without permission. We can look at this on a case-by-case basis and may grant permission, as well as provide high-resolution scans of photos, for a small fee. Please note, all images are digitally watermarked and fully traceable if they are used without permission.
